Jazz has announced to give 500 MBs of data free to all new prepaid customers and those who port the network to Jazz.

This data volume will be valid for a period of 10 days from the time of SIM activation. New customers will also get free balance of Rs. 30

Is this Good Enough?

To be honest 500 MB volume is quite low to lure in new customers, Mobilink should have announced at least 5GB with a validity of 30 days.

Pakistani telecom companies should understand that with the introduction of high speed internet and smart devices, data consumption has rapidly increased.

500 MB would have been sufficient for mobile users a decade ago, but today it can be consumed well under an hour.
