ZTE’s Crowdfunded Hawkeye Smartphone Brings Hands Free Experience

ZTE unveiled its Project CSX Phone (Hawkeye) at CES this year, which is company’s first crowdfunded, unlocked phone that brings a hands free experience to mobile phones.

Pieced together by ZTE Online community, this phone can stick to walls and other surfaces with its self adhesive case so you don’t need to hold the phone.

But you have to touch it for scrolling, opening apps etc? well actually no, you don’t have to touch it at all. It has built in eye-tracking technology that recognizes the movement of your eyes through front-facing camera and takes voice commands as well.

ZTE didn’t reveal the actual specifications at CES, but now those have been updated at the Kickstarter page. Where you can back this project for $199 and get the phone by September 2017. This would only be possible if the project meets its goal of $500,000 in funds.
