Skype Lite Android App is Optimized for Unstable Network Connections

Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella has announced the launch of Skype Lite, today in India. This new version of Skype is optimized for 2G and unstable network connections.

The Skype Lite app takes around 13MB of space and works smoothly on new and old Android mobile devices.

It is kind of a “super-app” that also takes control of your SMS and include AI Bots along with the ability to integrate the elements from other apps like Slack etc.

Skype Lite is India only for Now:

This app is currently available for Indian users only, however Microsoft plans to extend support to other countries in the region including Pakistan as well. This app currently supports English, Urdu Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu languages.
