Three wind power projects under CPEC with capacity of 200 megawatts would start their commercial operations in the current fiscal year.

Sources suggest that the 50 MW Hydro China Dawood wind power project is expected to be completed by next month.

Whereas, the UEP wind power project with installed capacity of 99 MW is likely to be completed by September, 2017.

Furthermore, the commercial operation date of 50 MW Sachal Energy Development wind project is set in June, 2017.

Three other wind power projects of 100 MW each had already been completed and they are producing energy.

Additionally, Gorges Wind Farm Pakistan project with installed capacity of 100 MW, is likely to be completed by September 2018.
