TPL Partners with NUST to Launch Voice Navigation Software

TPL Maps has joined hands with NUST Islamabad to launch a voice navigation software. The students at School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences will collaborate with the Maps team to develop this software.

This software will enable consumers to create route via simple voice commands. This feature will be a game changer for usage of map applications in Pakistan, considering the typing mistakes and spelling errors made by users.

TPL Navigation with Voice Commands in English and Urdu:

Moreover, this new technology will handle voice commands in various dialects of English and Urdu suited for Pakistani language speaking styles.

The human speech-based navigation system will come as a value added service to the existing TPL Maps application.

The partnership between the two organizations will prove to be a milestone for Machine Learning and AI development in Pakistan.
