If you own a smartphone, chances are that you already know about one of the most popular mobile game “Temple Run”. It is an “endless running” video game developed by Imangi Studios. In this game you take the role of an explorer attempting to steal an idol from a temple and being chased by “demonic monkeys”. The big news is that today Imangi Studios launched this game for Windows Phone OS.

The original game was released back in 2011 for Apple iOS and after a few months for Android but Windows Phone users were left behind. Recently the developers released Temple Run 2 for both iOS and Android, that went even more successful than its predecessor. I think that they should have released the second version for Windows Phone because the original game is too old and the new one has far better features. Now Windows Phone users have to wait again for the second part of this game.

This game is only available for Windows Phone 8 and will run on devices with 1 GB of RAM. Unlike iOS it doesn’t take advantage of Microsoft’s Xbox Live platform.

There are some more good titles coming for Windows Phone users including  Chaos Rings, Propel Man, Orcs Must Survive, 6th Planet, Ruzzle, Fling Theory and Drift Mania Championship 2. Also the new game Gravity Guy 2 is making its debut on Windows Phone before other platforms.
