After a very long time PTCL is launching a special promotion for all existing and new Student Package broadband subscribers. This promotion offers 2 Mbps broadband for the price of 1Mbps i.e. Rs. 1,099 per month.

Offer Details:
If you are an old Broadband Student package subscriber or getting a new connection, you actually don’t have to do anything. All the packages are automatically upgraded to 2Mbps.

The promotion ends on 30th June 2013, and after that your package won’t revert automatically. You need to call the helpline 1236 for going back to 1Mbps, otherwise you will be charged Rs. 1299 per month.
