Facebook is world’s largest social network or may be its world’s largest ad network, because the time and energy this company spend to ram down unwanted ads down our throats in prodigious.
There are ads on the newsfeed, on timeline, on desktop sidebars, on mobile, between videos and yes now they will appear in your Messenger conversations as well.

Facebook has recently announced that now brands will be able to send you ad messages directly, but only if you’ve contacted them before. This new feature is being called “sponsored messages”, how cute!
It’s kind of spam, but users will have the option to block these unwanted messages, but then there is another new feature that allows advertisers to reach you in News Feed and direct you to go to Messenger.
In short, world’s largest social network just got more ways to earn money and you got to see more ads, great let’s call it a win-win situation, because who doesn’t love ads, right?
