It’s Official, Mobilink and Warid Rebranded to Jazz

Jazz is going to be the official name of both business after Mobilink-Warid merger. Aamir Hafeez, the CEO for Jazz has announced this yesterday that both brands are now rebranded as Jazz.

Since the deal was finalized, there were rumors, speculating a new brand name for both business entities. However, the company decided to go with its familiar brand name “Jazz”.

Jazz Digital Headquarters:

To mark this occasion a special ceremony held last night at the Jazz head office in Islamabad, which is now also rebranded as Jazz Digital Headquarters. Hinting that Jazz is focused on digitalization in the coming future.

ٰIt merits mentioning here that Jazz announced to acquire Warid Telecom from Dhabi Group, back in November 2015. After that all 45 million subscribers will now be served under one brand name.

Current Warid subscribers will continue with the name Warid, until it is completely phased out in the next 12 months. Warid users will also have to get new SIM cards in order to get 3G and 4G services. However those using the new Warid LTE SIMs don’t have to change.
