If you have used Google+ then you may know about the Hangouts, with this feature you can video chat with up to nine other people or even broadcast your chat to the world.
I think this is the best feature of Google+, you can talk to friends, family or have a nice meeting with your clients for free, but sometimes the experience could be very annoying – especially when everyone is trying to talk at the same time, or some one is typing and their keyboard makes rattling sounds listened by everyone else. But don’t worry Google has started rolling out a small update that will take care of the keyboard noise with automatic muting for hangouts.
According to Tim Haloun from Google:
– If someone keeps typing in a Hangout, their mic will be muted until they stop
– They’ll see an in-Hangout notification, so they know they’re not interrupting the conversation
– We’ll do this for larger Hangouts (4+ people).
Hopefully this little update will make the Hangouts experience even more enjoyable, and you will get rid of the annoying click click clack clack sounds.
I assume that sooner or later other companies like Skype and ooVoo will add the same feature to their software, so the conversations could be more productive and less annoying.
