Facebook has now extended the Instant Articles feature to Messenger users. Instant Articles on Facebook allows you to load web pages 10 times faster in a format that is much easier to read.
According to Facebook statistics every month over 900 million people share and read news stories privately on Messenger and from now on they can do it much faster.
Currently, links shared via Messenger load in a mobile browser, which can be a slow experience, but with Instant Articles the experience will be much faster. Whenever you see a little bolt icon with link thumbnail it means that particular website / blog has Instant Articles enabled.
The Instant Articles feature is now live on Messenger app for Android and in a couple of weeks will be available on iOS as well.
