The pilot project of e-learn programme from Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has been started in eight public high schools of Punjab with the installation of 40 Inch LED screens and content servers.

Under this project, 200 multi-media class rooms were being established to impart science education from grade 6-10 through modern technology.

It will replace traditional black board and the students would experience digital lessons since they come to school after summer vacations.

Digitized versions of science and Math’s Subjects from class 6th to 10th are also available online but the pilot project aims to implement these digital books at public schools.

This pilot implementation will help the initiative to address technological gaps, adoption issues and content weakness.

For the pilot project six boys and girls high schools have been selected from Lahore, Khushab, Attock, Bahawalpur, Khanewal and two girls and boys Danish schools of Rojhan district Rajanpur.
About 200 senior science teachers are also being trained and before 15th August, new education system will be ready to replace the old traditional ways of teaching.
