Samsung has announced today that the next Unpacked event is going to take place on August 2 this year.
This time they aren’t shy to say that this unpacked event will be all about the much hyped Galaxy Note 7. Note 6 name has been skipped to streamline the naming system and cash on the success of Galaxy S7 and S7 edge.
The official invite from Samsung shows a familiar S Pen stylus and number 7 written along. Those who didn’t get an invite would be able to live stream it on samsung.com.
The event will take place at 11:00 a.m. EDT in New York on August 2, 2016 with simultaneous launch events taking place in Rio de Janeiro at noon and in London at 4:00 p.m.
We Already Know How it Looks!
Evan Blass from @evleaks has posted the press images for Note 7, so we already get an idea how this phone will look like. It carries the same edge to edge curve design but with a noticeable decrease in the width.
