Careem is one of the fastest growing app-based car booking service in Pakistan. Like many other multinational networks, Careem’s service is limited to the three big cities of Pakistan; namely Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad.
This is about to change because Careem has announced today that they are going to expand their services to Hyderabad, Multan, Gujranwala, Peshawar and Faisalabad.
At the moment Careem is looking for ambitious individuals to lead these cities as General Managers. It is expected that Careem will start test rides in these cities at the end of this month and the services will be officially launched in December or early next year.
Pakistan is going to become one of the major markets for Careem with addition of these 5 new cities. Careem’s only worthy rival, Uber won’t let it take over the market. It has already started its own expansion plan and recently reduced the fares up to 50 percent.
Careem Needs to Work on Support Services
In order to become Pakistan’s favorite, people at Careem have to upgrade their support services. Many people took it to social media to complain about bad behavior of captains and technical issues regarding Careem’s services, because there is no in-app support to resolve these issues and customers are always required to call he helpline; which may not be the quickest solution.
