Gionee is one of the popular Chinese smartphones maker, known for its mid-range devices.
It never officially launched its devices in Pakistan, but QMobile has rebranded some of Gionee phones for this market – which actually got very good response.
This year the Gionee has tried something new, it launched the flagship device of 2017 a few days earlier and priced it for almost $1000 USD. Which makes it by far the most expensive smartphone from Gionee.
A Glance at Gionee M2017:
Other than its high price tag, Gionee M2017 features an impressive set of specifications.
In terms of design, this phone follows the footsteps of luxury brands like Vertu. It is made mostly of metal and leather and boasts an unconventional design.
The key specifications of this smartphone includes a curved 5.7-inch QHD AMOLED display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 653 processor, 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal memory.
M2017 offers a dual-camera setup with 12-Megapixel and 13-Megapixel sensors. It also features an 8-Megapixel front facing camera and a fingerprint scanner as well.
Unfortunately, this phone doesn’t have an SD card slot or 3.5mm headphones jack. So in case you want more storage, you can buy the 256 GB version, which costs even more.
By default, this phone runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 and comes in two color options of black and gold.
This phone is currently on sale in China but due to its high price, it is expected to be sold only to select customers.
