PTCL has announced to discontinue its Voice Mail service for all users in Pakistan. According to a notification issued by the telecom services provider, the Voice Mail will not be available after 31st of January 2023.

The Voice Mail service was offered for those customers who are busy and it is not possible for them to answer each and every call. With PTCL Voice Mail service, you can leave voice messages in case you are unable to retrieve your call. You can access the mailbox 24/7 from anywhere, simply by dialing 1277.

This service was available countrywide and you could also get your voice messages through email, SMS and dial notifications.

Later PTCL also offered remote login for Voice Mail – which allowed you to receive your voice messages from any landline and mobile within the country or internationally, just by dialing 1277 followed by a four digit pin code of your mailbox.

However, now this service is being discontinued apparently due to lack of interest from customers and the continuously declining user base of telephone services of PTCL.
