Redmi K60 Pro display specifications officially revealed

Xiaomi aims to introduce the new Redmi K60 series on December 27 in China. The series will comprise the Redmi K60, Redmi K60 Pro, and Redmi K60e models initially. Several key specifications for the K60 Pro have been confirmed by the company in advance of its launch.

The full display specifications of the upcoming Redmi K60 Pro smartphone have been disclosed by Redmi on Weibo. The Redmi K60 Pro will sport a 2K QuadHD+ resolution screen,  It will support 12-bit colour coverage, which enables it to show up to 68.7 billion different colour shades.The display will support 1400 nits peak brightness, 526 PPI (Pixels Per Inch), and 1920Hz PWM Dimming. Additionally, it will get HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HDR Vivid support.

Xiaomi has also revealed some other key aspects of the upcoming device. Teaser image revealed that the Redmi K60 Pro will be equipped with 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The company confirmed earlier that the K60 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The K60 Pro is also confirmed to house a 5,000mm2 vapor-chamber liquid cooling area, which is made out of stainless steel material. The company says that the K60 Pro is so powerful that there is no need for a gaming phone. Hence, the company will be launching the K60 Pro instead of the K60 Gaming.
