The new Twitter Blue plan benefits paid users with priority replies on tweets and allowing them a 60-minute video upload limit.
The longer videos are currently up loadable from the web, and they can be up to 1080p in resolution and 2GB in file size. The previous limit for Twitter Blue subscribers was ten minutes of video at 1080p, with 512MB of file size. For now, this limit still applies if you upload from Twitter’s Android and iOS apps. Twitter says that “the resolution and bitrate of the original video while streaming based on the speed and stability of the viewer’s internet connection.”
According to Twitter’s Support page, the priority reply “prioritizes your replies on Tweets that you interact with”, as the tweet replies will appear at the top of the page. The priority rankings are aimed to “help lower the visibility of scams, spam and bots.”
Presumably, more features are coming to Twitter Blue in the future to form it a a lot of attractive proposition for People to determine to pay $8 per month on the service.
