Vivo is gearing up for the launch of its Vivo S16 series of smartphones in China on December 22nd. The S16 series will include the S16, S16 Pro and the S16e. All the models feature a punch-hole screen, triple rear cameras with ring LED aura light, and the S16 and the S16 Pro feature curved displays, while the Vivo S16e will come with a flat panel.

The S16, S16 Pro and the S16e will be powered by Dimensity 8200, Snapdragon 870 and Samsung Exynos 1080 chips. The Vivo S16 will come in Black, Gradient Pink, and Green colour options, while the Vivo S16 Pro will come in Black and Green variants. The Vivo S16e, on the other hand, will launch in Green, Black, and Violet colours.The S16 and the S16 Pro will feature a photochromic glass that turns emerald green in sunlight.

The phones will feature a 50-megapixel front camera with portrait focus, a 50MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and vivo self-developed soft light portrait algorithm.`

The S16 and S16 Pro are expected to pack a 6.78-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED curved displays from BOE. These should pack 80W fast charging. Based on online listings, the vivo S16 will come in 8GB + 256GB version, and the vivo S16 Pro will have 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB versions.`

The S16e and S16 phones will come with a 4,600mAh battery and 66W fast charging capabilities. The Pro model’s battery size is not known yet but is expected to support 80W fast charging. All three phones will run on Android 13 OS and OriginOS 3. At present, there is no information available on the price of the Vivo S16 series.
