According to the information, Google accidentally revealed the a new device to launch with Fuchsia. Google planning document, an upcoming device will have Fuchsia installed from day one. During the past few years, Google has updated its original Nest Hub and Nest Hub Max operating systems to run on its own Fuchsia operating system rather than “Cast OS.” There are many Google devices yet to be upgraded to Fuchsia, but according to recent reports, a device will come with Fuchsia out of the box.

Last week, Fuchsia developers submitted a new document explaining an upcoming project. However, the company deleted this document later.

According to 9to5Google, Fuchsia will be gaining JavaScript development support. This will make controlling the device’s features easier. More specifically, the work is being done to support “factories,” where new devices are tested while in production.

Moreover, Fuchsia’s JavaScript support apparently needs to be completed in the first half of 2023 because a Fuchsia-powered device is being manufactured in the very near future.

Previous reports have revealed that two upcoming Google devices will additionaly come with Fuchsia. Both devices will be smart speakers. One of them will be a lower-end device, most probably, a Pixel Tablet dock or a third-gen Nest Mini. On the other hand, the other device will seem like a full Nest Audio successor complete with UWB connectivity.

Considering the timing of everything, It seems likely that Google’s next flagship Nest speaker, expected from fall 2023 or spring 2024, will be the first to launch with Fuchsia pre-installed.
