Samsung started testing One UI 5.1 for the Galaxy S22 series last month, and now a new report claims the company has begun trying out the update for the S20 series as well. The S20 series already received its last major update in the form of Android 13.
In a report, the company has begun internal testing for the One UI 5.1 update for Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra. The software is being tested with firmware version G980FXXUFHWA1.The H in the tenth position suggests it is a major version.
Based on this information, we can expect that Samsung will soon release a new One UI 5.1 update to the aging Galaxy S20. This new version of One UI is reported to bring some new features and improvements. It could bring some additional lock-screen and different UI customization features.
Samsung could introduce One UI 5.1 on February 1, However, there’s no official confirmation from the company yet.
