Galaxy Buds 2 gets new update to improves charging

Samsung has released a new firmware update to the Galaxy Buds2.The new build is labeled R177XXU0AWA3, which has so far been rolling out in the company’s home market of Korea, and it should make its way to other places very soon.

The 3.06MB update is available through Samsung’s Galaxy Wearable app, which you use to update Samsung’s TWS earbuds. With the update, the Galaxy Buds2 are charging more smoothly, and some unnamed bugs may also be fixed as they tend to do.

To get the most recent firmware for your Galaxy Buds 2, open the Galaxy Wearable app and pick the Galaxy Buds 2 from the left side menu. Once the Galaxy Buds 2 are connected to your phone, click on Earbud Settings » Earbuds software update and tap on Download and install.

The Galaxy Buds2 have been around for a while now, and Samsung didn’t bring us a successor at the event at the beginning of this month. On one hand, that’s pretty strange to see, but on the other hand, we appreciate the Korean company not trying to flood this category with too many products.
