Lenovo first launched the Legion Y900 tablet in February 2022 in China. Recently, there were rumors that the company was planning to launch the tablet globally.
The exact date of the global launch is still uncertain, however, evidence from China suggests that Lenovo may be introducing a larger version of its Legion Y900 flagship tablet. Warning: It is identical to the Lenovo Tab Extreme unveiled at CES 2023 for the global market.
Recently, actual images of the tablet were made available on the internet, indicating what it looks like. The Y900 undeniably has a high-end design, similar to the Tab Extreme.
This slate is fitted with a 14.5-inch OLED screen that carries an incredibly sharp resolution of 3000 x 1876 pixels. It has a 16:10 aspect ratio and is compatible with 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming technology as well as supporting 120Hz refresh rate.
The Lenovo Legion Y900 is driven by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 top-of-the-line processor, and can be equipped with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. This device houses an enormous 12300mAh battery inside.
Additionally, it has two USB-C ports; one that supports DP output (USB-C 3.2 Gen 1) and the other for DP input (USB-C 2.0).
Other features include a weight of 740 grams and a thickness of 5.85 millimeters, eight JBL speakers, Dolby Atmos (Dolby Atmos), and four microphones.
Optics include a 13MP lens at the front, a 13MP and 5MP sensor at the rear. Lenovo has not yet announced when the tablet will be launched in China, but it runs on Android 13 out-of-the-box.
