The Xiaomi 13 Lite will be unveiled alongside Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro on February 26. Ahead of its launch, the entry-level Xiaomi 13 series phone has already been spotted in the flesh.
The Xiaomi 13 Lite is described as an entry-level phone, and the mid-ranger should be the cheapest model in the series. This is evident from the spec sheet as well.
The 13 Lite will be equipped with a 120 Hz AMOLED display. This display could also have 1,000 nits of peak brightness, Dolby Vision support, and 1,920Hz pulse-width modulation (PWM).
In the camera department it will boast a 50 MP “triple camera system”. In addition to the 50 MP main sensor, the phonewill sport a 20 MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 2 MP macro lens.
Furthermore, the live images have verified that there are two 32 MP selfie cameras with disparate fields of view. Lastly, the phone is expected to possess a hefty 4500 mAh battery.
Despite the fact that all of these mentioned specifications look quite familiar to the keen-eyed, the smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor with fast charging capability of 67 W.
Since the Xiaomi 13 Lite appears to be a rebadged version of the Xiaomi Civi 2, which debuted in China in September 2022.
The Xiaomi 13 Lite is predicted to feature up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, if true. To be realistic, the Xiaomi Civi 2 being a youth-oriented mid-range smartphone makes it unlikely that the latest memory and storage technology will be included in this phone compared to the Xiaomi 13 and Pro. Not much longer until its launch – let’s just wait and see what happens.
