Infinix has unveiled 260W wired and 110W wireless All-Round FastCharge, a new milestone in its pursuit of innovation. This new technology can fill-up battery from 0% to 25% via a wire in one minute and from 0% to 100% in less than eight minutes while 0 to 100% can reached wirelessly in 16 minutes.

The 260W standard is released barely nine months after Infinix introduced the 180W Thunder Charge. The new technology expands on this by switching from a dual 8C battery to a single 12C battery with a 4-pump circuit design that automatically analyses power requirements and assigns the number of charge pumps required.

The charging efficiency is 98.5%, and the 4,400 mAh test battery can keep 90% of its initial capacity after 1,000 cycles. The charger employs a mix of GaN material and AHB circuit infrastructure and the cable can carry up to 13A of power to achieve the 260W charging.

The 110W wireless charging uses custom-made small-sensitive coils with distinct designs – there are fewer but broader coils in the same space, minimizing internal resistance and, as a result, phone temperature increase during charging.

Reports suggest that this new charging tech will be included with the Infinix Note smartphone this year.
