A new Google mid-range phone, the Pixel 7a, is about to be released, and it is expected to build on the success of its predecessor, the Pixel 6a. As a result of the Pixel 6a’s camera and battery capabilities, users were raving about it, and the Pixel 7a is expected to take that to the next level. Google’s I/O event is expected to be held on May 10th, at which the Pixel 7a will be unveiled.
As reported by 91mobiles, the Pixel 7a will feature an FHD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Google’s Tensor G2 processor, the same processor used in the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. As well as 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage, the smartphone is expected to support UFS 3.1.
There will also be a 10.8MP front-facing camera for selfies, and the Pixel 7a is expected to feature a 64MP rear camera with OIS as well as an ultra-wide camera with 12MP. In addition to support 20W wired charging and wireless charging, the device is expected to come with a 4,400mAh battery that promises up to 72 hours of backup time.
