Yesterday, China saw the official launch of the realme GT Neo 5 SE, which shares some specifications with the regular GT Neo 5 but differs in three key areas: the chipset, camera, and battery.
The realme GT Neo 5 SE boasts a 16MP selfie camera and an optical under-display fingerprint scanner. The device has a 6.74-inch AMOLED screen with 2772 x 1240 px resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. On board, there is a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide module, and a 2MP microscope lens. It also features 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 1TB storage option, alongside Qualcomm’s latest 7-series chipset, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2.
Notably, the GT Neo 5 SE differs from the GT Neo 5 in terms of battery capacity and charging speed. The SE model has a 5,500 mAh battery and charges at 100W speeds, while the GT Neo 5 charges at 150W. The device runs on Android 13 accompanied by realme UI 4.0.
The realme GT Neo 5 SE comes in two colors, blue and black, with pricing starting at CNY 2,099 ($305) for the 8/256GB model and topping out at CNY 2,799 ($406) for the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage model. Open sales for the device will begin on April 10.
