Aslam Chaudhary, the Economic Minister at the Pakistan Embassy in Beijing, expressed enthusiasm for collaborating with Beijing Urban Construction Intelligent Control (BUCIC) on big data projects and smart city initiatives.

Chaudhary led a delegation to BUCIC, where they got a firsthand look at the Digital Experience Center and the Urban Rail Transit Cloud Intelligent IoT Laboratory. The delegation couldn’t help but marvel at the smart city solutions, especially the integrated intelligent control center. This control hub combines station control rooms, customer service centers, fire control rooms, and ticket booths for seamless and smart city management.

Post-tour, discussions between the parties dived deep into plans for upgrading Pakistan’s railway system and developing the Gwadar Port. These talks open exciting possibilities for technological advancements in Pakistan’s infrastructure.
