Intel Pakistan today held a ceremony to praise and encourage the 10 finalists of National Science Fair. These 10 Pakistani students will represent the country in the upcoming Intel International Science & Engineering Fair 2013, to be held in Phoenix, Arizona from May 12 to May 17.
The Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF), a program of Society for Science & the Public is the world’s largest international pre-college science competition. The premier global science competition for students in grades 9–12 provides an annual forum for more than 1,500 high school students from 70 countries, regions, and territories to display their independent research.
Sharing her thoughts at the occasion, Asma Aziz, PR & Marketing Manager, Intel Pakistan said:
Intel ISEF opens a world of opportunities to the young and talented youth of Pakistan by encouraging them to study science and learn about research. It is a platform to identify, encourage and promote young scientists. It not only helps them to dream big, but teaches them the skills required to achieve them as well. Many students who have represented Pakistan at the international level have won laurels, but the impact that the program has on these students is far greater than winning an award at the science fair.
