The Information Technology University Punjab (ITU-Punjab) is set to hold an Information session on Saturday, May 18, 2013, 4:00pm onwards at the Arfa Software Technology Park located on Ferozepur Road, Lahore.
This event will be a great opportunity for prospective students to learn about ITU’s existing MS program in Computer Science and also its undergraduate program being launched this year.
ITU will be offering four-year Bachelors (BS) degrees in the fields of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering encapsulating a project-oriented and design-centred approach to education geared towards producing a new generation of IT workers.
The Information Session will allow attendees to meet with faculty, admissions staff and students to learn more about the university, its academic philosophy, the eligibility criteria for the various programs on offer and scholarship options. Dr.Umar Saif, Vice Chancellor of the university, will be speaking at the event, amongst other prominent speakers.
Commenting on the event, ITU’s VC Dr. Umar Saif said, “We have modelled ITU-Punjab along the lines of MIT, one of the leading technology universities of the world.ITU is focused on solving real-world problems with innovation and entrepreneurship at the heart of its culture. This information session will allow aspiring students to get answers to any and all questions they might have.”
