Finnish overclocker group named “The Stilt” has set a new world record by overclocking the Richland APU A10-6800K to 8203.34 MHz. They achieved the result by setting the bus clock at 130.21 MHz and the multiplier at 63x. The lower core voltage was at 1.968 volts the entire time.
Stilt used liquid nitrogen cooler that provided load and idle temperatures of -180°C and -186°C at an ambient temperature of 25°C. The new x87 patch for Richland was also applied which allowed them to achieve quite impressive SuperPi results.
