More than a thousand people were gathered today at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Singapore to witness the unveiling of OPPO N3, the latest camera-focused smartphone from the Chinese multinational.
The N3 takes much of its design inspiration from the last year’s N1, however some of the key features from Find 7 has also been included in this device. The highlights of N3 are the 5.5-inch 1080p display, motorized camera, skyline notifications, VOOC Charging, fingerprint scanner and a newer version of Pure image Technology.
You can control the motorized rotating camera via on-screen gestures, the O-Click 2.0 Bluetooth Remote Control or Touch Access ─ else you can always twist the camera with your hands . The 16-megapixel camera can track focus, take auto panoramas and digitally secure your photos.
The other notable features are the new skyline notifications and fingerprint scanner. Unlike Find 7, now the light pulse can be seen from all four sides and you’ll never miss a notification. The O-click accessory allows you to quickly takes pictures from a distance while the VOOC charging ensures that you’ll 75% battery on just 30 minutes charge.
On the inside this phone has the same hardware as seen on most of the new flagship devices, a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core SoC, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage. This 4G LTE enabled smartphone can take 2 SIM cards (1 micro + 1 nano), however you can also use a microSD in place of SIM to enhance your storage. OPPO N3 runs on the latest version of ColorOS, with Android 4.4.4 KitKat.

This phone will be available in select markets from December at a price of $649. Pakistan market will also get this phone next year with an approximate price of Rs. 65,000.
