Google has announced to start rolling out Android Nougat 7.1.2 public beta for devices that are enrolled in Android Beta Program.

It is an incremental update focused on refinements, so it includes a number of bugfixes and optimizations. It also offer small number of enhancements for carriers and users.

Currently it is available for Pixel and Pixel XL, Nexus 5X, Nexus Player, and Pixel C devices. Google is expected to launch the final release of the Android 7.1.2 in just a couple of months, after that it will gradually become available for Android phones.

Google also confirmed that the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 will not see the 7.1.2 update, However the update for Nexus 6P is in works.
