Folks at FrAdnoid.com have got their hands on a prototype of Nokia 9 (previously rumored to be Nokia 8). Although the phone was enclosed in a blue case to avoid giving away the design details, we now know much about the phone specifications and the OS.

Nokia 9 is a Flagship Killer:

The Nokia has a 5.3-inch Quad HD (2K) display, which seems to be quite unique since we have seen 5.2 or 5.5-inch screens mostly. It has 530 nits of maximum brightness and features the Nokia’s trademark always on screen as well.

Below the screen, there is a physical home key that also doubles as the fingerprint scanner, flaunted by two capcitive touch keys for app switcher and back functions.

On the inside, it packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage. It runs the latest version of Android i.e. Nougat 7.1.1 with a Google Pixel like UI.

The phone has two cameras on the back, protruding a bit with laser autofocus and a dual tone LED flash. As expected one is a color sensor and other one takes photos in monochrome. The front camera is said to be an 8-Megapixel snapper; however, no specific details are available about it.

It comes with a Quick Charge 3.0 charger, capable of delivering 5V to 2.5A, 9V to 2A or 12V at 1.5A, however the battery capacity is still unknown.

It features a 3.5mm headphones jack, USB Type-C and stereo speakers as well. Other connectivity options might include NFC and wireless charging; but, those are not confirmed yet.

A Hefty Price Tag:

Nokia 9 is said to compete against flagship phones like Galaxy S8 and iPhone, it will have a flagship price tag as well, with the base model starting at $750 or more.
