Despite all the secrecy, OPPO Reno 9 series launch date is now confirmed as people who are to the launch of the Reno 9 series started posting all about it on Chinese microblogging website Weibo.
The images shared on Weibo shows that OPPO will unveil the next Reno phones at 2:30 pm (China Time) on 24th of November.
Later that image, which showed when the Reno 9 series would come out, was taken down from Weibo. The Launch date for the Reno 9 series will be officially confirmed by the brand in the next few days.
It merits mentioning here that the OPPO Reno 9 series renders and specifications have already leaked. Reno 9, Reno 9 Pro, and Reno 9 Pro will feature the same 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display with curved edges and an under-display fingerprint scanner.
The Reno 9 is expected to feature the Snapdragon 778G+ chipset, whereas the Reno 9 Pro will be equipped with Dimensity 8100-Max SoC. The Reno 9 Pro+ will be a flagship phone featuring the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset.
All three phones are expected to house a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 front-facing camera. The Reno 9 is expected to feature a 64-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera setup. The Pro model will have a Sony IMX890 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
The Reno 9 Pro+ will be equipped with an OIS-enabled Sony IMX890 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The series will run on Android 13 OS with ColorOS 13 on top. The vanilla and Pro model will pack a 4,500mAh battery with 67W charging. The Pro+ will house a 4,700mAh battery with 80W charging.
