A set of images has recently appeared online and these show off dummy units for Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra. The dummies confirm the design we saw in previous render leaks.
The leaked image gallery shows all three models side by side in black and white. As expected, the camera island of the Galaxy S23 and S23+ is the most dramatic visible change. Gone is the common plate below and now each lens stands out individually.
The phones appear to have metal sides and a matte finish on the rear panel, but that doesn’t say much since these are only dummy models. The retail units may have different colors too. As for S23 Ultra, the design is almost the same as last year. It still has the same blocky appearance, reminiscent of the late Galaxy Note lineup and the cameras have no separate cutouts either.
The only difference between the dummies and the renders from before is the SIM card tray placement. The renders depict the tray at the bottom, while the dummies have on the side. And in case you are wondering what purpose the indentation below the power key serves, it’s most probably required for the 5G antenna.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 series is predicted to come out during the first week of February next year .
