The date has finally been revealed for the Vivo X90 Series global launch to be on 31st January 2023. This information was earlier revealed that it will happen in January but the date wasn’t revealed. Tipster Techno Ankit has shared a launch event poster of the X90 series on Twitter. The brand is yet to officially announce anything regarding the smartphone’s global availability.
It is quite clear from the poster that the Vivo will be going to hold an event at the very end of January, however, little else is confirmed. The series will include the X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro+. These phones were launched in China in early December.
The global variants of the Vivo X90 series are expected to come with the same specifications as their Chinese counterpart. The Vivo X90 lineup features a 6.78-inch center-aligned punch-hole AMOLED display with curved edges, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and a fingerprint scanner. The vanilla and Pro models offer 1.5K resolution whereas the Pro+ has a QHD+ panel. All three devices go with a circular camera module.
On the optics front, the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro has triple rear cameras. Both devices have a 50MP main sensor and 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The third unit on the regular model is 12MP whereas the Pro has a 50MP telephoto shooter.
Internally, the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro are powered by a Dimensity 9200 SoC whereas the Pro+ is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. All three devices pack up to 12GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage. The X90 and X90 Pro are backed by a 4,810 and 4,890mAh battery with support for 120W charging. The Pro Plus has a 4,700mAh cell with 80W charging. The X90 series also supports 50W wireless charging.
