Apple acknowledges iPhone 14 Pro display bug, to fix in next iOS update

An increasing amount of iPhone 14 Pro users report a strange display issue when booting up or unlocking their devices, Horizontal lines of green and yellow show up on the screen, but they usually vanish while the startup procedure is still in progress, so the problem doesn’t necessarily have a severe effect on the user experience.

Now Apple has officially acknowledged the issue and promised that the bug would be fixed in the next iOS update. According to MacRumors, Apple has sent out an internal memo to confirm that they are presently investigating an issue. They have stated that the fault is not due to a hardware defect, rather it is a software bug.

Apple’s response to the issue initially reported last month was not made public but was seen in internal documents by persons familiar with it. We can just hope that the upcoming software update will resolve the problem.
