Honor has launched a new budget device around the globe the Honor X8a. The phone features a 6.7-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 100MP rear camera.

The device runs on MediaTek’s Helio G88 chipset along with 6/8GB of RAM and 128GB of non-expandable internal storage.

The phone features a 100MP primary camera contains a 100 MP principal camera with an f/1.9 lens and autofocus in addition to a 5MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro module. The display has been cut out with a punch-hole to contain the 16MP selfie cam.

Magic UI 6.1, based on Android 12, takes care of the software side, while the battery is 4,500 mAh and supports 22.5W fast charging.

The Honor X8a will be available in Midnight Black, Titanium Silver, and Cyan Lake colors. The phone will cost $266 in the UK for the 6/128 GB variant and is available for pre-order through Honor’s official website.

A free Honor Band 6 is being offered to pre-orders placed until February 14. The phone will begin shipping on February 15. Honor has also listed the X8a in Malaysia and the UAE and we can expect this phone to appear in even more markets in the coming weeks.
