The Vivo X Flip, Vivo’s upcoming foldable flip phone, has been making headlines recently. Its name has now been confirmed following its Google Play certification, and it will, of course, be called Vivo X Flip, in accordance with Vivo’s naming conventions.
The name makes sense in the context of vivo’s naming logic, since X Fold is the company’s other line of foldables, and the X Flip will compete with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip4 and Oppo’s Find N2 Flip. In order to avoid the word “flip” in the name of these devices, Motorola is the only option, as everyone else seems to be flippant.
Recently, a Vivo X Flip model was spotted on the Geekbench website with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and a 12 GB RAM configuration. Additionally, it has been certified by 3C to support 44W quick charging.
It is expected that the phone will feature a 6.8-inch 1080p 120Hz screen, a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 4,400 mAh battery. The phone will be launched in China sometime in April, which means an international launch will likely few months later.
