It was a long wait for the Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra after the well-acclaimed Mi 11 Ultra in 2021, but the company did not release the handset worldwide after announcing the 12S Ultra in 2022, allegedly due to a shortage of chips. However, Xiaomi will now debut the 13 Ultra internationally.

According to leaked images, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will launch in China in March or April. It will focus heavily on photography, unsurprising given the Ultra’s heritage.

There have been rumors about the 13 Ultra keeping its predecessor’s 1-inch main sensor, but adding gimbal stabilization. All four cameras will be autofocus, and it will also feature a dToF (Direct Time-of-Flight) sensor.

The upcoming phone will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, as well as 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone will also be powered by a massive 5000 mAh battery with fast charging capabilities.

Additionally, the phone will be equipped with a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED touchscreen, 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Furthermore, it will boast a 108MP main camera and a 32 MP selfie camera.

There is still no official confirmation of these specs, but we will find out more about the upcoming device soon.
