Even though Meizu said it was leaving the smartphone industry earlier this year, the business has introduced three new phones—including the Meizu Blue 20—since then. Instead of the Snapdragon 8, this inexpensive handset uses a Unisoc T765 (6nm) chipset. The phone is marked as “coming soon” with a placeholder price tag, so we don’t know how much it will cost. Both 6GB RAM and 8GB storage with 128GB and 256GB storage, respectively, are available combinations.
5G connection and cutting-edge AI capabilities are available on the Unisoc T765 chipset. An AI-assisted writing tool and a chatbot are among them. Without a camera at all, the AI can even make its own pictures when asked to. Nevertheless, the phone comes with a “uncrop” option that allows you to enlarge the scene of your images, which is great for people who like more conventional shooting methods.
The specs of the camera are a little out of the ordinary. Software interpolation from real 13MP and 5MP sensors, respectively, gives the appearance of a 50MP back camera and an 8MP front camera, which are not actually the case.
Deploying its “Flyme AI OS,” the Meizu Blue 20 integrates intelligent privacy and security technologies. Its display is 6.5 inches and it has a refresh rate of 90 hertz. A notch for the selfie camera highlights its affordable status, yet a 3.5mm headphone socket and a microSD card slot (supporting up to 2TB) remain as desired features. Additionally, you will receive stereo speakers.
There is no information on the charging rate, however the phone’s 5,010mAh battery may be recharged using USB-C. No brand was specified, but the 8.3 mm thick device has front-facing reinforced 2.5D glass.
There is currently no word on when or if the Meizu Blue 20 will launch in markets other than China.
