A 120Hz OLED display, a 50MP primary camera, and MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset were the features of the mid-range Oppo Reno12 F 5G, which was unveiled last month. With the release of the Reno12 F, Oppo upgraded the device to include the Snapdragon 685 processor.
This updated model is aesthetically identical to the 5G model, but now you can get it in a Matte Grey shade instead of just Olive Green and Amber Orange. You can choose between 256GB and 512GB of storage space on the Reno12 F 4G model, and 8GB of RAM is standard. Nevertheless, in contrast to the Reno12 F 5G, which boasts Bluetooth 5.3, it is compatible with the more antiquated Bluetooth 5.0 protocol.
With these exceptions, all of the other specs are identical across the two variants. Both come with a 6.7-inch OLED screen, a triple-lens camera system (50MP + 8MP + 2MP), and a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged with 45W SuperVOOC. These phones are equipped with Oppo’s AI suite, which includes ColorOS 14.0.1, AI Writer, AI Speak, AI Recording Summary, and AI Summary for text.
Oppo is likely to announce the pricing and availability details for the new Reno12 F model soon.
