Samsung is gearing up to unveil its latest flagship models, the Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, expected to be officially introduced during the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10th. However, a recent leak appears to have revealed comprehensive details about both phones well ahead of their launch.
Renowned leaker Evan Blass recently shared what seems to be official promotional materials for the Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 through his Substack newsletter. These leaked sheets provide an extensive look into Samsung’s upcoming devices, showcasing their key features and specifications in detail.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Highlights:
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 boasts a 7.6-inch inner display complemented by a 6.3-inch outer display. It is equipped with 12GB of RAM, offers 512GB of storage, and houses a 4,400mAh battery. Powering the device is an octa-core processor. The main camera system on the outer cover includes sensors of 50MP, 12MP, and 10MP with 3x optical zoom capability. Inside, there’s a 10MP selfie camera along with a unique 4MP under-display camera.
One notable improvement highlighted by Samsung is the phone’s reduced weight of 239 grams, down from 253 grams of its predecessor, the Z Fold 5. The outer display has also been slightly enlarged by 0.1 inches, while the device itself is slimmer at 12.1mm when folded (compared to Z Fold 5’s 13.4mm). Despite these enhancements, Samsung has maintained the battery capacity.
Additional features include a new slim flex hinge, an enhanced Armor Aluminum frame, and IP48 water resistance.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 Features:
On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 showcases a 3.4-inch outer display and unfolds to reveal a 6.7-inch inner display. It retains a similar form factor to its predecessor but is marginally slimmer when folded at 14.9mm (compared to 15.1mm of Z Flip 5).
The Z Flip 6 is powered by a larger 4,000mAh battery and features an upgraded main camera system with a 50MP primary sensor paired with a 12MP telephoto camera offering 2x optical zoom. It also runs on an octa-core processor, accompanied by 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
These leaks provide a comprehensive preview of Samsung’s latest foldable phones, highlighting significant upgrades in performance, camera capabilities, and design refinements expected from the new Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 models.
