As the demand for Windows Phone 8 platform rises in the country, Nokia Pakistan organized the first ever app development workshop in association with Microsoft Pakistan. The workshop was aimed at engaging the local developer community with whom Nokia Pakistan shares a very strong relationship. The training was impacted by Tony Torp, Nokia’s external trainer who was flown in from Finland to share his supreme expertise on the WP 8 platform with the participants. The workshop garnered a phenomenal response which evidently showed a keen sense of interest amongst the local developers for being part of the enhancement process for the WP8 platform.
Speaking on the occasion, Rabia Nizami, area head DX, Nokia Pakistan said:
Smartphones have become an inherent part of our daily lives and with the use of mobile applications, consumers are open to a unique personalized experience. As the local developer community has remained at the forefront of mobile app development, Nokia Pakistan tapped on their talent through this workshop and gave them an opportunity to undergo training for the Windows Phone 8 platform.
