If your tweet didn’t work first time, now you can retweet yourself to ensure that your message gets across and even add some extra content to it.

Twitter has announced this feature yesterday that allows users retweet their own tweets. Until now they could have only like / heart their tweets.

Now it’s just like Facebook and other social platforms where you can re-share your old posts. However we needed a solution to edit our posts. Nonetheless it’s good to have this feature.

Recently Twitter has also relaxed the 140 character rule and now usernames and media attachments doesn’t count towards the limit.

So it’s time to try out the new feature, head over to your Twitter profile, find something interesting you posted a long time ago and “retweet”.
