The latest budget smartphone from Oppo is the Oppo A56s, but while it appears new, it is only a rebranded version of the Oppo A57 that was released in April. Despite the fact that it offers the same specs as the A57, it now includes 8GB RAM as standard.

Oppo A56s gets a 6.56-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. There is a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera, a thick bottom bezel, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for fast unlocks. The device comes preinstalled with Android 12 OS with the ColorOS UI on top.

Oppo A56s is equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 810 chipset, 8GB RAM and comes in two storage choices, such as 128 GB and 256 GB. For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot on the device.

There’s a 13MP main cam around the back which is capable of 1080p video recording at 30 FPS and there is also a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash. The oppo A56s has other features like a dual SIM slot, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, The phone packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 10W charging.

Oppo A56s 5G has a starting price of CNY 1,099 ($161) for the 8/128GB trim and goes up to CNY 1,299 ($190) for the 8/256GB version in china. The phone comes in Deep Sea Blue and Quiet Night Black colors.
